Dear MARNMP members,

The Maltese Association of Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians will be launching the CPD endorsement scheme as of 1st January 2020.  All certified members who wish to endorse their CPD activity with MARNMP will be able to do so as of January 2020.  A guideline is being published on the website and sent to all members by email.  You will be asked to register your interest in participating by not later than 30 November 2019.

The new academic year is up and running.  At present there are a record number of 15 radiologists in training.  5 final year radiology trainees are doing fellowships abroad.  I wish to congratulate higher specialist trainees and basic specialist trainees who passed their respective examinations.  

​

MARNMP will be holding an audit CME event on 7th November 2019.  There will be several audit presentations followed by dinner.  More details are being sent by email.  All members are encouraged to attend.

​

MARNMP secretary, treasurer and president will be attending RSNA 2019 in Chicago 1st to 6th December.  RSNA update will be given in the next president’s message.

​

The association is also planning a landmark educational event in February 2020.  More details will be given in due course.

​

All members are encouraged to submit ideas and to participate in MARNMP events.
